Ryan Berkley has spent the last twelve years creating his signature portraits of animals wearing clothes.

In this show, he presents his creatures in an alternative universe, completely devoid of the vanity of fashion. In addition, he pairs each portrait with a notable counterpart from the plant world.

Flora and fauna together, beautiful and au naturel.

Join us for an art opening with Mr. Berkley on
October 5, 2019 from 3-6pm.

The show will be up through November 3, 2019.

Join us for a launch party, reading and presentation of Molly Mendoza’s new work Skip on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Starts at 6pm, Reading and Presentation at 7pm.

In this epic tale of friendship, compassion and growth, Molly Mendoza’s stunning art and gripping storytelling immerses you in alternate worlds filled with mystical creatures and dazzling landscapes.

When Bloom is thrown from their world, and Gloopy is exiled from their own, the two youngsters find in each other a much-needed kindred spirit. But as they skip through dimensions and encounter weeping giants, alligator islands and topsy-turvy 2D worlds, they find that their greatest challenge will be facing their own fears back home.

buyolympia.com started in 1999 as a way to help our friends sell things online.

Well, 20 years later, we’ve got a lot more friends.

We are doing a big group show and invited over 600 of our favorite artists to participate, and in the first couple days over 200 agreed to participate!

Each one will be sending us one or two postcards and we’ll fill the walls with their art.

The show will open on Saturday, June 29th from 2-6pm at Land Gallery — which is also celebrating a birthday this year — its 10th!

A Perception of Color and a Notion of Time

An exploration into the human recognition of color, this project is under the umbrella of Mike Vos’ Dead Cities photography series.

Vos has color vision deficiency and recognizes color differently than his camera does.

These images are an allusion to an individual’s interpretation of the world, not just in subject matter but through different areas in the spectrum of visible light.

This exhibition includes film photographs developed with a range of experimental techniques and processes that predict a world without humans.

Opening Artist Reception
Saturday, June 1 from 3-5p.

Show runs through June 16, 2019.
