Artist Nikki McClure returns to Land to share the original pieces from her 2019 calendar as well as paper-cuts from her new book with The Decemberists’ Colin Meloy about the legendary Pete Seeger “The Golden Thread.”

Using only an x-acto knife, Nikki transforms a single piece of black paper into something magical. Pulling inspiration from the world around her, she creates a strong, thoughtful, female-driven narrative of life in the Pacific Northwest through her paper-cuts.

Opening reception Saturday, November 10th from 2 to 4p.
