Animals & Instruments

Musical instruments come from nature. Different woods possess strength and tonal properties and metals come from minerals formed in the earth’s crust. This show explores what might happen if nature reclaimed and repurposed the musical instruments we love.

Jenny Tiffany has had a lifelong love of wilderness and animals which has always been reflected in her art. Inspired by mid century design, vintage ephemera, nature, permaculture design, vintage musical instruments, and music, Jenny works as a freelance illustrator and designer from her Portland OR home studio. In her spare time, Jenny plays guitar, hangs out with her chickens and remodels her mid century ranch home at the base of Rocky Butte in NE Portland that she shares with her wife.
