Nikki McClure returns to Land with originals from her 2014 calendar.

Nikki McClure’s work is an amazing feat of craftsmanship and artistry, as she takes a single piece of black paper and using only an x-acto knife, is able to tell complex stories of life, motherhood, work, friendship and community with deceptively simple cuts.

Nikki’s calendars have become a staple in kitchens, offices and schools. Each image is an original papercut, cut from a single piece of paper.

The calendar originals are a real sight to behold in person; there’s an incredible depth and personality that comes from the single piece of cut black construction paper.
