Land Gallery is excited to be hosting a truly epic group show this March and April curated by local Portland design stars Jolby and Always With Honor.
It’s a show inspired by the many hours we’ve all collectively dedicated to defeating Ganon and his endless minions.
It’s the Triforce Tribute.
It is multi-medium show featuring over 30 artists interpretations of what tickled their fancy in the Legend of Zelda catalog.
The line-up is a crazy list of amazing designers and artists, over half of which will be in attendance opening night.
Opens Friday, March 9, 2012 at 6pm at Land Gallery, 3925 N Mississippi Ave, Portland Oregon.
All-around good guy Allan Peters of Minneapolis will have a limited edition screen print.
Illustrator Andrew Kolb will have three separate pieces in the show.
Portland’s favorite iconographer couple Always With Honor are bringing a large framed piece.
Curator and designer Clifton Burt has a smaller piece in the show that he’s keeping a secret until opening.
Colin Ford is a typographer attending the Type and Media master program in The Netherlands.
Cory Loven will have a nice screen-print to share on delicious French paper.
The Seattle-based and ever charming Cory Schmitz will also have a screen print for the show.
Dan Cassaro aka Young Jerks has created a print and a cool peel-off sticker set.
Portland visual-artist Dane Overton will be setting up a monitor for a digital presentation.

Doublenaut is the design team of Andrew and Matt McCracken. They’ll have a limited-edition silkscreen to share.
Portland designer Eric Coddington will have new work at the show.
We’re not sure what our good friend Frank Chimero will bring to the show, but it’s guaranteed to be awesome.
Photographer Ian Whitmore will have a large format photograph for the show; we can’t wait to see his realistic representation of the games.
Jeffery Frankenhauser is creating a series of lithographs for the event.
Graphic designer and amazing information-organizer Jennifer Daniel is working on a combo audio-poster piece that should be a real treat.
Hailing from the UK, and now based in San Francisco, Jez Burrows, the co-founder of Sing Statistics, will be doing a letterpress print.
Co-curators Jolby will also have a collaborative piece in the show with Always With Honor, as well as having a stunning piece of their own.
The extremely talented Jamie Paul from the Lost & Found Dept is also doing a print.
Portland illustrator Meg Hunt has a warm and beautiful style that captures the spirit of the games and brings them to life.
Mikey Mann is creating a large mixed watercolor, colored pencils & ink piece just for the show.
Olly Moss is known for his recreations of famous movie posters is bringing his unique style to bear on the Zelda universe with a large format print.
Brooklyn-based Part & Parcel will have a nice acrylic on watercolor piece.
Piasa is working on an original soundtrack inspired by their favorite Legend of Zelda tunes.
Peter Harp is creating a print with his cunning visual chops.
Illustrator and package designer Ross Bruggink is creating a print for the show.
Illustrator Ping Zhu is doing a gouache on paper.
Travis Kochel & Lizy Gershenzon of Scribble Tone are going all out; creating a cement cast stone tablet.
Script & Seal are working on some real-life wood cuts.
San Francisco’s Skinny Ships is reformulating the special potions from the game into real-life works of art.
