Land gallery will present “Talking Birds: Migrators of the Pacific Flyway” (video, print, string and sound) by Portland artist Aaron Rayburn. His project focuses on birds migrating from the Boreal forests heading south for winter. He has created large-format maps with strings marking the flyways of the birds, as well as an accompanying video.

The artist describes it as “a childhood fascination expressed through video, print, string, and papercraft. Talking Birds is a collection of artifacts, dreams, and memories related to the small flying machines we call birds.”
